Rates + Packages
Every writing project includes:
Guaranteed satisfaction. You have to be thrilled before I consider the job finished.
Accessible language, written for real people. Accuracy, yes! But no fancy talk. There’s no point in posting an article that can be understood only by research scientists (unless that’s your target audience). If there’s a need to reference scholarly research, I’ll write it so it makes sense.
Fact checking. This means I double-check names, web addresses, phone numbers and other relevant information. If you’ve ever noticed mistakes after the fact, you know why this matters.
No wasted time. I start every project by asking the most important questions. We’ll zero in on your most important messages and not waste time with guesswork.
Options for formatting. We can appeal to both readers and skimmers.
SEO and keyword content. This comes with a full understanding that our objective is to reach a specific audience, not a mass audience.
- An ongoing supply of ideas. Whether I’m working on a large project or a few simple blog posts, I’ll always provide more ideas for you to consider.
A very short story about pricing:
Two shoppers were talking about the price of tools.
One guy said, “I know this is a great brand, but I hate paying this much for a tool.”
The other guy said:
“It only hurts at the cash register. If you buy a cheap tool, it hurts forever.” *

Large-Scale Writing or Marketing Project
(This could be the development of a new website, a long-term series of newsletters or blog posts)
I normally price this as retainer work. For example, if the work is estimated to take more than three months, I’ll have a “per month” quote.
For example, for a six-month project, a quote may be:
$3,000 per month for six months
This is just an example. An actual quote will be provided once we determine the scope of the project.
- Every project is different!
- Rates are defined as the details of the job are worked out.
- I have never changed my rates in the middle of a project.
- Regardless of the size of the project, I will always provide top-notch writing.
Let’s talk about ideas for you.
* It’s the same thing with writing. If you hire the cheapest writer, there are real risks that you’ll end up with typos, grammar mistakes or outright factual errors.
Better off working with someone who provides the highest quality writing.
Bottom line:
The writing represents you. It’s your credibility, your standing in the community.
When you work with me, you’ll receive fresh ideas, not boring, rehashed copy. From me, you’ll get enthusiasm. You’ll get real commitment and problem solving.
Together, we’ll come up with honest stories, based on sound strategies.
Marketing is never a one-size-fits-all endeavor.
My work is customized for you, based on your most important goals.
